      <title>The Converse Rubber Tracks Experience Comes To San Francisco</title>

Converse will also present &lt;strong&gt;Converse Rubber Tracks Live&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;strong&gt;in San Francisco&lt;/strong&gt;, a free bi-monthly concert series debuting&amp;nbsp;in August. Coinciding with the launch of the new Converse retail store in San Francisco, the upcoming music initiatives support creative expression and provide great opportunities for emerging Bay Area artists to create and showcase their music.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Converse Rubber Tracks pop-up studio will take place at Different Fur Studio located in the vibrant Mission District of San Francisco. This will be the first of four pop-up studios happening over the next year with next one taking place in August. In the last two years, Converse has brought the Converse Rubber Tracks experience to great music cities including Toronto, Austin, Montreal and Los Angeles, giving musicians valuable studio time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="line-height: 1.6em;"&gt;Converse Rubber Tracks Live is a concert series that originally launched in 2012 in Brooklyn and has since expanded to support cities with vibrant music communities including Los Angeles and Boston. The lineup for these shows include headliners who hand pick emerging artists that have recorded at Converse Rubber Tracks, the community based recording studio in Brooklyn that allows artists to record for free.&amp;nbsp; Since launching, the Converse Rubber Tracks Live series has featured a diverse range of headlining artists including White Rabbits, Action Bronson, Ghostface Killah, A-Trak, King Tuff and Vivian Girls, as well as Converse Rubber Tracks artists We Barbarians, Flatbush Zombies, Heliotropes and more.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Also, in celebration of the new San Francisco retail store opening on Friday, June 28, Converse will launch Converse Represent, a five night free concert series beginning Sunday, June 23 that leads up to the grand opening.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;

      <title>Converse Rubber Tracks Live Brings Concert Series to Boston</title>

      <title>Nigel Cabourn Brings Military Influence to New Converse Collection </title>

Newcastle-Upon-Tyne-based designer Nigel Cabourn&amp;nbsp;is a veteran of the fashion industry who is widely recognized for his take on heritage garments, men&amp;rsquo;s outerwear, military-inspired apparel and utilitarian functionality.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For this collection, Cabourn examines Converse&amp;rsquo;s rich American heritage of boots and sneakers created for the outdoors and the military, and infuses his own designs into the Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey with rich Ventile fabric uppers in military-inspired navy and olive green colors. Ventile fabric was developed for use in World War II flight suits as a material to protect Hawker Hurricane and Supermarine Spitfire pilots when they ejected from their planes into icy waters. Ventile fabric extended survival time tenfold and saved many pilots&amp;rsquo; lives. Suits made with Ventile fabric remain in use by British Royal Air Force to this day.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;ldquo;The Ventile fabric adds such a strong element of history and design to this collection.&amp;nbsp;I chose the All Star Bosey for its military-like chunky sole and 1940s appeal. multi-level 200m² space, where fans will be able to see live performances, get

collections, and add a “well worn” twist to their sneakers through a ‘Tune

Borrowing subtle details of sneakers from the era when Converse was celebrated by iconic rock &amp;amp; rollers, basketball legends who have won championships and skateboarders that have ripped pools, the &amp;ldquo;70s Chuck&amp;rdquo; is re-crafted to the specifications of the Chuck Taylor All Star of the &amp;lsquo;70s.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star collection features slight differences that, at first, may only be recognizable to collectors and astute fans; however, upon careful inspection the sneaker features slightly higher rubber foxing along the sole, added cushioning and a slightly more substantial toe box.&amp;nbsp; Additional vintage details include stitching on the sidewall, a vintage license plate on the heel and a super heavy-grade canvas upper.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The original classic black and white sneakers will be available globally on Friday, February 15. Other original colors by Converse in sunflower and crimson, will be available globally in April and&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;additional colors will follow in July. The new series focuses on bringing African artists together with U.S. based artists to create original music. The first collaboration in this video series features up &amp;amp; coming Nigerian alt-soul singer Bez and Brooklyn-based rapper/producer/songwriter Sene. &amp;nbsp;The two artists wrote and recorded an original track called &amp;ldquo;Big Promise&amp;rdquo; which will be available for free at www.okayplayer.com beginning February 11, 2013. Zakim Bridge and the Washington Street-Charlestown Bridge will be completely renovated for Converse, the current dilapidated wharf will be demolished and replaced with approximately three-quarters of an acre of new publicly-accessible waterfront open space, and a new two-story pavilion building will be constructed and occupied by Converse.&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
