Nike, the leader in sport innovation, has teamed up with Syracuse men’s lacrosse for the debut of its Nike Fast Break Uniform. At this weekend’s top-10 match-up at the Carrier Dome, the Orange will be the first program to wear the new integrated system.

The Nike Fast Break uniform is the company’s lightest lacrosse uniform to date, built to minimize distraction for the athlete. It features a sleeveless jersey for increased shoulder mobility that is 17 percent lighter than the current Nike Vapor jersey. The new uniform short is eight percent lighter than the Nike Vapor Short and, like the jersey, is made with a four-way stretch woven fabric for added freedom of movement. Innovation for cooling and breathability are integrated at the high-temperature areas of the body -- on the back (mesh panel) and under-arms (zoned perforation) of the jersey, as well as down the sides of the short (zoned mesh).

To complete the uniform, players will wear the short-sleeved navy blue Nike Pro Combat Hypercool SS Fitted Crew baselayer with zoned ventilation, further enhancing the full system’s breathability by allowing air to reach the athlete’s skin. The sleeves feature the player’s jersey number.

The jersey is white with “Syracuse” inscribed in orange across the chest and navy blue numbers with orange trim.. As a unique touch, the jersey features an image of the Syracuse University Hall of Languages façade woven into the fabric on the shoulders. The program’s “Head, Heart, Hustle” motto is also found inside the collar.

Nike Vapor Arm Pads, debuting in navy blue and white, and the Nike Vapor Elite Glove, are also available to the athletes, completing a signature look for the Syracuse Orange.
